Ian, Alex, Natalie and Nicole would like to express their thanks to all the staff at UCLH ITU. This is the unit that looked after our mum and gave her every fighting chance to try and beat this horrible virus. The doctors, nurses and all other hospital staff are putting their health and lives at risk to help people like our mum to fight this virus. The care and support they provided to our mum cannot be faulted. They fought hard for her till the very end. We would like to encourage friends and family to donate to our chosen charity to help support our NHS Heroes.

At this unprecedented time of extreme pressure, we want to support the incredible UCLH staff as they meet the extraordinary demands of the Covid-19 virus. The UCLH emergency fund aims to boost morale and help staff meet this unprecedented challenge. Small things can make a big difference and this fund will help make sure the staff feel looked after, safe and well rested. 

Your donation could give the staff the support they need to recover from the trauma and exhaustion of the Covid-19 pandemic.

    £5.00 could cover a meal for a frontline Covid-19 nurse who can't leave the ward on a twelve-hour shift

    £25.00 could fund teas and coffees for a week in a refurbished rest area so staff can relax, refuel and recharge as they spend some much-needed time away from clinical areas

    £50.00 could fund a wellbeing support group or trauma treatment to burnt out staff suffering from PTSD and other mental health disorders as a result of their Covid-19 experiences
