It's too easy to ignore what is happening around us, we have to start caring and keep giving, because one day, this could happen to us or someone we care about, and we will then be grateful to everyone who has a heart and donates to find cures, comfort and support.

I feel so fortunate that I am currently fit and healthy and able to run 26.2 miles (I hope!!!) to help raise money for such a worthy cause. It wont be easy - it's my first marathon. But knowing I am doing it for someone and something will push me and spur me on when I hit the wall, it's the only thing that will keep me going. If a cancer suffering can defy all odds and fight fight and fight some more, then there's no excuses for giving up and giving in. I want and I need to give back to this world and I want you all to be with me.
