On 22nd December 2017, my mum was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. This means that she has to have an operation, radiotherapy and maybe further treatment to get rid of the cancer. The only sign that my mum had was an uncomfortable feeling under her arm but some people don’t even feel this and I want to make people more aware so they can catch the illness as early as possible.  I decided to get a group of friends together to raise money for breast cancer care to make sure that other people facing the same illness can get the required treatment and so that research can be done to improve the treatment.  Your donation could help someone like my mum get through an illness that can affect men and women everywhere, a little support goes a long way.
