I will be hoping to complete the three peaks challenge alongside one of my best friends to raise money for the young epilepsy charity. It is such a wonderful charity and epilepsy is something that has also affected my own family too. Amy is one of my closest friends, her daughter Ella is 9 and was diagnosed with Rolandic Epilespy and Generalised Epilepsy in 2019. Her symptoms started in 2018 and it was a challenge to be listened to and to get a proper diagnosis. Throughout this time Ella has faced many challenge‘s learning about her condition, learning to adapt and cope with day to day life and medication management. Recognising her sypmtoms to make herself safe when there is an episode. Amy is a towering strength to Ella and has had to cope with so much over the last two years, there has been so many highs and lows but the resilience of Ella is what gets her through. Such a brave little girl who takes everything in her stride and still smiles throughout it all. We are wanting to give back and what better way than to challenge ourselves and do the Yorkshire Three Peaks. We will be training from now until the date of the challenge and hope to raise as much money for this amazing charity so please please support us to reach out goal! Thank you so much. 💓
