Story
Hi there!
On 30th June 2018 I will be challenging myself to a Wing Walk from Compton Abbas airfield - where I will be moving on top of the wings of a flying plane to raise money for two charities, Cats Protection and Southampton Hospital PICU.
I have been a regional manager for Cats Protection for 14 years. I work with a large team of volunteers across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset. I would love to be able to give some extra support to these dedicated and committed people so that they can continue to make a difference to their local communities and to offer further help for the abandoned, neglected and unwanted cats they care for.
If I manage to raise, and even go beyond, my target, I would also like to donate funds to the PICU at Southampton Hospital. My son, George at 18months old was admitted to this unit for 2 weeks after a contracting a near fatal viral infection. I will be forever grateful for the care George received. The unit is always in need of money and any donations they receive go towards funding improvements, equipment and even a new ambulance.
So please, if you can help me to help these worthy causes, or if you just want to see me complete this crazy challenge, no amount is too small or large and every penny makes a difference.
Thank you for you kind support and consideration xx
