Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!!
Reasons I DO NOT want to do this;
1) I am scared i need the toilet but have become too competitive to stop and doing a 'Paula Radcliffe' suddening becomes appealing!
2) I am scared i get trampled at the starting line because i am so tiny! (ha ok ok i do watch too much tv!)
Jokes aside, I am running the London Marathon 2009 for the National Society for Epilepsy for a reason that is very close to my heart as my brother has suffered from epilepsy since he was young . The knowledge and advice my family gained from the NSE turned a very scary time when he was diagnosed with having epilepsy and was suffering fits, into something that we understood and could deal with. The NSE does such valuable work educating people about epilepsy and coming up with better treatments and care for sufferers that it is an honour to be running for them.
I have for a long time been into running and completing a Marathon is something that when I was younger I knew I wanted to do when I grew up.. .Well that time has snuck up upon me suddenly! Currently I run an average of 8 miles… so that makes it only 18 more miles to add to that to be able to complete the Marathon! EASY! Emm… no, actually, I don’t think so! But with some very seriously hard training, the generous donations and support from yourselves (my lovely friends and family) and the knowledge I am running for such a worthwhile cause…. I’m sure I can just make it…!
So guys, please find it in your hearts (and wallets) to support me and give generously to this fantastic charity!
Get donating!
Thanks
