Hi everyone

Thanks first of all for taking the time out to visit my fundraising page.  I have decided to run the BUPA Great North Run half marathon in Newcastle for Breast Cancer Care.  This is a charity I am proud to be running and fundraising for.  Having seen family members and friends being affected by breast cancer I wanted to help others like them.  I thought completeing a half marathon would be a challenging and rewarding experience while raising as much cash as possible.  Here are a few facts you didn't know:

Nearly every year around 41,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women in the UK, which works out to about 120 a day!  Although it is rarer in men around 300 men are diagnosed every year.  With your help I'd love to reach my target or maybe even more to help Breast Cancer Care with their vital work.  Around £36 will cover the cost of a call to their helpline.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online if you can.  It really does make my day to see my target getting closer.
