Story

In a moment of madness I have signed myself up to the NSPCC Gherkin challenge - Running (or walking or possibly crawling) up all 1,037 steps or 38 floors of London's iconic Gherkin Building.

I was inspired after seeing images of fire-fighters walking up almost 100 floors of the Twin Towers and 24 floors of Grenfell. I've often wondered how anyone could have the stamina and strength to make it to the top of those tower buildings  - let alone tackle a fire afterwards! So here is a chance to challenge myself to experience just a little of what that might have been like - whilst raising some money for a fantastic charity.

The NSPCC helps children who have suffered abuse and neglect that no child should ever have to experience. Big or small your sponsorship makes a huge difference to the children and young people that the NSPCC help through their services.

Have I got what it takes to make it to the top? Well I guess we'll find out but please help me to take my fundraising to new heights (see what I did there?) at this fantastic event for a great cause.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
