We provide family-led care and support to children with life-limiting conditions

Story

Hiya - Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
We are running the Jane Tomlinson 10K race in Leeds on 22nd June - the longest either of us has run before is 5km, but we are determined to run the whole way and would love your support to help motivate us along the way!!

Most of you will remember Jane Tomlinson and what a remarkable woman she was.  This race is in her honour and to help raise money for her specific chosen charities.  One of these is Martin House Children's Hospice and this is who we are running for.  Martin House is a local childrens hopsice in Wetherby, which is now in its 21st Year.  It provides care for terminally ill children and their families.  Offering a home from home environment, providing respite and terminal care and berevement support.  It costs 3.7 million pounds to run the centre each year, but only 7% of this is from the government, the other 93% is met by fundraising!!!  It is a fantastic place and we have to help it keep going.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.  Or if this is jut too much faff - then old fashioned cash is fine!!

So PLEASE sponsor us now! Love Nic and Jo xx
