I am running to raise much needed funds for The Bury Cancer Support Centre, in memory of my best ever friend Julie Ann Chapman,who very sadly lost her fight against aggressive breast cancer in July last year. Julie was extremely passionate about the centre, it helped her through very difficult times, mentally, as well as with the physical effects of the illness.

Julie had a great enthusiasm for life, she had the best sense of humour ever, and used her professional and social connections to raise a great sum of money for the centre, helping them in their efforts to have a permanent place open all week to help as many people and families as possible who are affected by cancer.   

So if you could donate any amount, to help me and my knobbly knees complete this run for my best friend Julie, who I'm sure  will be cheering me on, I will be extremely grateful.  Thanks a million. xxx
