The Sevenoaks Area Dementia Friendly Community formed in 2015 and registered as a charity in 2019. We fund Forget-me-not cafés, Forget-me-notes singing group and Forget-me-not allotment plot across the Sevenoaks District. We provide companionship over a cuppa, peer support and entertaining activities for people recognising issues with their memory, we include families, friends and carers. Our annual Run Walk or Push Against Dementia Event is the main funding stream that allows us to offer all of our groups free of charge to our patrons and we want to keep it that way! Our amazing committed Volunteers, Trustees and Partners wholeheartedly believe in raising awareness, tackling isolation and loneliness and having fun at our events. Everyone involved gives their time for free.
