Story
In March 2021, a lot happened. I made a career change, starting a new job and my then partner (now husband) Richard went into hospital with what we thought at the time was a UTI. Little did we know what a journey we would embark on. This stay in hospital revealed a tumour in his abdomen. Shortly after, Richard was diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma (stage 3) on his kidney transplant, that had spread to a couple of lymph nodes in his abdomen. His initial prognosis was 9 months but thanks to the support of the Clatterbridge team, Richard fights on and long may it continue!
