Cancer Research UK are proud to be the first official charity partner of the BNY Mellon Boat Races, and we’re calling on the Great British public to help beat cancer sooner with the Great Row. A fantastic and fun way to keep fit, we want to prove that rowing is for everyone. Whether it’s your first time rowing or you’re a pro, there’s something for everyone as you can choose whichever challenge level best suits you. We’re challenging you to:- Row 2000 metres (Olympic length)- Row the distance of the Boat Race (4.2 miles)- Row a half-marathon (13 miles)- Row a full marathon (26 miles)The money you raise will go towards finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat over 200 types of cancer.
