In 2010 my Dad suffered a severe stroke which left him unable to work anymore.  Stroke is a debilitating illness with no treatment unless caught very quickly.  The Stroke Association is desperate for money to fund research into this condition and hopefully provide a treatment to prevent patients being left disabled and with speech impairments.
