Story

I’m lacing up my walking boots (with my new branded laces) and taking part in the first ever in-person Canalathon event hosted by the BaldHiker aka Paul Steele.

I’ve challenged myself to walk 26.2 miles (in one day) to raise vital funds to help protect and care for our 2,000 miles of waterways, whilst also getting to know our local area.

The Droitwich Ring is a completely circular canal route that takes in the River Severn, Droitwich Barge Canal, Droitwich Junction Canal and the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.
