Story
Hi everyone,
Thanks for coming onto my JustGiving page. You may be asking yourself why I've decided to run my second marathon this year?
The first reason is because Alex, my twin brother said he'd do it, and I can't have him show me up :) The second is, I've dreamed of doing the London Marathon since I first saw my mum run it. The third and most important is to remember my beautiful cousin Mollie, who continues to inspire me and my family everyday to take on all life's weird and whacky challenges, and do our bit to raise money for the charities that do such great work to help children suffering from cancer
For those of you who don't know Mollie's story. We lost Mollie at the age of 11 after a very brave battle with Leukaemia. Mollie was diagnosed aged 5 and after chemo went into remission. However, she sadly relapsed a few years later. The Anthony Nolan played a vital role in sourcing the bone marrow donor Mollie so desperately needed. Following nine months of rigorous treatment & her bone marrow transplant, Mollie sadly passed away in 2006, aged 11
The Anthony Nolan is a fantastic charity & anything you can give, would be hugely appreciated!
Thank you all :)
