Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. which has been set up in memory of Lise Russell, who very unexpectedly took her own life in November 2015. Lise was a wonderful, talented, beautiful, wickedly funny and utterly lovable woman, who is missed dreadfully by all who knew her

I met Lise when she came to work in the HIV service at the Mortimer Market Centre as a staff nurse. She progressed through the ranks and was a superb nurse, manager, colleague and friend

I am raising money for SOBS , a charity that helps to support those who have been bereaved by suicide. They would like to set up groups in more areas

When i was roughly 12 and a fit competitive swimmer, i was desperate to swim the channel. I was talked out of it and got a pony (much more  expensive and dangerous, surely?)

I plan to do the swim the cheats way now i'm older and more cowardly. I'm swimming the 21 miles in a pool, over a period of 21 days
