The H-ABC foundation UK charity has a close personal connection, as a member of my family is affected by this condition.

Through genetic testing, Sam was diagnosed with H-ABC Leukodystrophy,  an extremely rare neurological condition which results in  hypomyelination of the brain. This has delayed and impaired the development of Sam’s fine motor skills and eventually will result in the slow deterioration of his nervous system. There is currently no cure for this life limiting, heart breaking disease. 

Please help us support the H-ABC foundation UK, which provides support for families and directly funds research for a treatment and cure. There is always  hope for a better future for Sam and children like him.
