Nick really wanted to call it a Nobb-a-thon, but they wouldn't let her!

After a long, hard and bravely fought battle with a very rare brain tumour, Andrew passed away too early - aged only 58. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, brother in law and uncle; we dearly loved him. He was a keen runner himself, and was hugely supportive of his family in their love of sport.

We don't think, however, he ever imagined his bumbling sister-in-law enjoying her daily runs round rural Norfolk, which is the reason why she wants to run a half marathon in his memory. He would however, be mightily impressed with his whole family - because we have come together to pledge to run, cycle, walk and canoe at least 10 marathon distances between us, during May 2021.

We will be achieve this by running, walking, canoeing and cycling - each to their strengths and abilities.
