I will be taking part in my first marathon this October and have chosen to run it for Leukaemia Care, an incredibly worthwhile charity. Myself, like many people have had friends and family members affected by cancer and so have chosen to support a charity that helps to tackle white blood and marrow cancers.

Leukaemia Care's mission is to improve lives through:

• early diagnosis
  
• access to early treatment
  
• providing information and support to patients and their families
