Who would have thought that in our forties we'd be training for and running a half marathon??! But when our inspirational friend Charlotte asked us to run for Alfie's Wish there was only ever going to be one answer. We are very proud to be running on behalf of Alfie's Wish at their first ABP event to raise awareness and money for this incredible charity. It also gives us the chance to challenge ourselves to something new and to make a new memory together, knowing that the money we'll be raising will help to provide special days out for families. 

Alfie Butler was diagnosed with a Brain tumour when he was 8 months old, after a long and brave battle sadly he died on 2nd Jan 2020 at 5 years old. His parents James & Charlotte set up Alfie's Wish as his legacy to help other children with Cancer as they know just how tough it is as a family physically, emotionally and financially. The charity supports children (0-16 yrs) with Cancer in the UK and their families by referrals from CLIC Sargent to send them on family days out to make memories together and cover help towards additional costs.
