Story
Most of you will know my sister Tracey is currently undergoing treatment for secondary breast cancer in the bone. This past year has been brutal on her both physically and mentally.
You may also know that I'm not exactly what you'd call sporty... or in anyway fit! I have been looking for a challenge that will push me out of my comfort zone and ensure I'm stretched in body and mind.
I've been mulling over doing this for days now; how will I find time to train, will I be able to get my stamina levels up and just a general sense of 'I'd rather do a bookathon!'
But isn't that the point of a sponsor? Your friends pay into something that they know will:
A) be properly difficult for you
B) matter more to you than a few blisters
So please make this worth my while!!! I want to raise £1000 minimum (but would obvs love to smash that target!). I know we've all been affected by Cancer - my granny, my grandad, friends and of course, Tracey twice - and I promise to hike those damn hills for everyone you love who has ever faced it.
