On March 14th 2010, Mothers Day, My 3 boys lost their Grandmother (Oma) to Cancer. She was only 53 years old. She had an extremely short battle with the disease and was diagnosed a mere 3 weeks prior to the day she drew her final breath.

I am running this 10 Mile race in memory of her, and in a bid to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research, so that untimely deaths like this can one day, maybe, hopefully avoided.
