I'm taking on this challenge in memory of my late step dad Les who passed away in May 2019 at the age of 52 from pancreatic cancer. He worked outdoors as a roofer, he was a fit man with a great tan who adored his Grandson Lucas. Les was showing pancreatic cancer symptoms for approximately five years and throughout this time he had regular check-ups with his GP, with each symptom being treated separately.

I want to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and it's symptoms by catching it before it goes too far for treatment. This cancer is very difficult to treat, and early diagnosis is the best way to increase pancreatic cancer survival.
