Story
Did the run in a very slow time, but did run all the way! It was a beautiful morning and a scenic run, starting in the courtyard at Warwick Castle and finishing in the grounds of Kenilworth Castle. It was mostly up hill though... Thanks again for your support. Nooxx
Thanks for your support for Bliss. They were one of the partners in the POPPY project on Information, Communication and Support for the Parents of Premature Babies (www.poppy-project.org.uk). The outcome of that 3 year academic study was a properly evidenced case for family-centred care. This means putting parents at the heart of care for their babies.
The recommendations were adopted by the government in its "Toolkit for Neonatal Care"; they inform the NICE guidelines on Neonatal Care and UNICEF have expressed an interest in adopting them as guidance on world-wide basis (we've gone global!). I was the parent rep on that project. My contribution was tiny, but its probably the thing I am most proud in my life - apart from Charlie & Annabel of course!
Thanks for helping me to continue to show my support for a charity which delivers results way beyond its means. Your donation will mean they can provide support to families, and equipment & training for neonatal units. Noo x
