Wanting to raise some money for charity in the run up to New Year, , I stumbled across the Buddy Bag Foundation. Now having a child of my own, their work really touched my heart and I decided there and then that they would be the charity to benefit from any money I could raise.  

Buddy Bags have been created for children who have been victims of domestic and sexual abuse. When they are removed from the situation they are taken in by Women's refuges. Each participating refuge centre keeps a stock of Buddy Bags that are given to children when they are placed in emergency care.

The Buddy Bag is a backpack that contains all the essential items a child needs. They include toiletries, pyjamas, socks and underwear and include comfort items such as a book, a photo frame and a teddy bear. A Buddy Bag is something a child can call their own, no matter where they go. They are tailored to suit babies and children according to age groups and gender and cater specifically for children aged 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16 years old.

They are a really worth while charity to raise money for year round but particularly in the run up to Christmas. 

I  am lucky enough to be in possession of 3 RAF Red Arrow's pieces of memorabilia which I know will likely be much sort after by Red Arrow's fans! These include a signed flying suit from a member of the current team, as used in their latest 2019 US tour,  a protocol (15"x21" picture) again, from their US tour over Niagara Falls signed by the whole team and a 2020 booklet (6"x8"), again signed by the whole team.

Anyone who donates £20 or more will be put into a draw to win one of the items above. The draw will take place as soon as the target is hit. The first pulled will be contacted to choose their item and so on. 3 chances to win a piece of memorabilia! Pls ensure you leave your name against your donation and email 'potentials1983@gmail.com' to confirm your name and donation to ensure you are put into the draw. Winners will be notified by email. All donors over £20 will be given allocated a number. An electronic number generator will be used to pick the winners.

• Each donation of £25.00 ensures that one child will receive a complete Buddy Bag full of essential items as outlined above.
• A donation of £5.00 helps us to provide toiletries to a child in need.
• A donation of £15.00 helps us to provide toiletries, underwear and pyjamas to a child in need.
• A donation of £20.00 helps us to provide toiletries, underwear, pyjamas and a cuddly teddy bear to a child in need.
