Story
I'm doing a sponsored Solo sky dive with the Dundee skydiving club to raise money for Medicine in Malawi Placements (MIMP), a charity set up by the university medical school.
The main aim of MIMP is to make students placements in Malawi as beneficial to the countries health care system as possible whilst giving the students valuable clinical experience. They do this by providing the students with training before they go to ensure that they understand the local health issues and practices, as well as sharing resources with hospital and providing funding.
If you want to know any more about the charity, this is their website:

The jump I'll be doing is a static line skydive from 3,500ft. This means I'll be jumping on my own but my parachute line will be attached to the plane, so luckily I won’t be in charge of pulling it and it should deploy after a while all by its self! After that though, I'll be in complete control of the parachute and will somehow have to steer it back to earth. Hopefully I'll pull it all off with as much style as this guy <-------
If you feel like sponsoring me, even if its 50p, I’d really appreciate it and its going to a great cause.
Thanks!
