Story

As many of you know I like to do unusual things climb Sydney Harbour Bridge, skywalk etc of course with my mad lovely son Kieran.

Well, we are abseiling down the orbit the UK's highest freefall abseil at 262 feet! and zipwire Bluewater which is 724 metres so why not try raise money to give support to the charity given me support.

I am raising money for the Macmillan centre at East Surrey Hospital to go towards some of their projects summerhouse etc for patients and families to enjoy.  They are provide support to talk to have coffee, helpful information, classes and counselling etc.  Where I did not have much medical support elsewhere. Especially during these uncertain times when you could not have anyone with you ie husband with you before op just drop off at front door.

East Surrey Macmillan Cancer Support Centre - Macmillan Cancer Support

I went doctors twice during lockdown as felt a lump they said everything was OK. I then turned 50 was sent for a mammogram in March then referred for biopsies and investigations. I got diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer, couple of op's later and all lymph nodes removed and radiotherapy. I am currently NED (no evidence of disease) 🤞for my first mammogram. I am on medication least next five years thank goodness turned  50 sent mammogram.

I cannot thank my family and friends enough, for their support and running me to appointments etc.
