Positive Action in the Community (PAC) are a local registered charity working across Pendle, Burnley and Rossendale on a number of projects which support people to build emotional resilience, improve their emotional health and wellbeing, make positive choices, and improve their education and employment chances and move on to live independent lives.

They also provide supported accommodation to Homeless young people, support to adults and children affected by domestic violence and early support to families who are struggling to cope.

And also local facilities to aid social welfare in recreational and leisure time …. At the moment they have taken on Waterside Centre to provide a place to go for children and young people 

Charities have really taken a hit over the last 18 months and some may not recover , and children’s emotional well-being and mental health will really be tested over the coming years as they move to adulthood

PAC do an amazing job of empowering young people and giving them the skills to live independently.
