My planned mid life crisis involved tearing up tarmac on my motorbike around England's green and pleasant land NOT puffing and panting in plimsoles and PE kit around local country roads.  This is soooooo hard but there's no going back now. 

This is your one and only chance to support me. Never ever, ever, ever (recurring) will I be so stupid as to let my so called friend dupe me into running a marathon again. 26.2 miles!!!  (42km makes it sound like I'm running to Hell and back)

On a serious note we've probably all seen the devastating impacts of cancer.  Without Macmillan Cancer Support and it's amazing work, sufferers and their families would find it much harder to cope in such stressful and devastating circumstances.
