Story
I have been given the great honour of running the Virgin London Marathon next year for St Richards Hospice. It is something I have always wanted to do but never thought I could possibly achieve until a couple of years ago when my passion for running really took hold and now St Richards Hospice have given me a gold band charity place.
St Richards Hospice do a wonderful job of caring and supporting people and families dealing with life-limiting conditions within the south Worcestershire area. To run for the charity obviously involves fundraising, this is the part I don’t particularly enjoy as I have to put myself out there and can not just hide behind my desk or under my running cap but it is vital for some charities to be able to continue doing the work they do and lets face it I have the easy part, they have the hard part.
This is my way of thanking them for the care they provided my own Grandfather many years ago and for the support they provide to many people and their families every day.
Thank you for your support
