We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

The December Daily Dash is back! The opportunity to complete 5km a
day, every day for the month of December.

As a keen runner this will be my 5th year of December Dashing and this year I would like to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK.  As some of you may know our colleague, Greg Carrier, was diagnosed with stage 3 Bowel Cancer in late March this year. In the weeks and months that followed, Greg has had an operation to remove a tumour and undergone several rounds of chemotherapy. After six months of treatment, it’s amazing to have Greg back at work.

Greg is determined to raise awareness and funds for Bowel Cancer
UK, a charity he and his family have been the beneficiaries of. Our company, Quantuma has chosen to support Bowel Cancer UK as the firm’s charity of the year, and I would love to use my Daily Dash to kick start our fundraising for this very worthy cause.

I’ll be running 5km every day – yes even Christmas day! If you’d
like to join me, you don’t have to run, you can walk or jog. :-)

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. They're here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
