I have recently started volunteering with Hackney Pirates, helping local children with reading, homework and fun creative projects. The Hackney Pirates is an innovative education project developing literacy and creativity in young people, by giving them one to one attention in an unconventional learning environment.

The Pirates are looking for a home. Soon we will need to leave our wonderful base and settle down somewhere new. By sponsoring me on this 5k Run, you will be helping The Hackney Pirates get into a new and permanent space.
