Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In a moment of madness my friend Diane and I have signed up to complete the London to Brighton challenge. Not the well known bike ride but a gruelling 100km (60mile) walk.
We will start early on 12 May and keep going and going and going through the day and night, up hills, down hills along tracks and through streams until we have finished the 100km -ready to party to celebrate our achievement or maybe just collapse.
So think of us as you have your morning cup of tea, enjoy your lunch, chill with a glass of wine and tuck yourselves into bed because we will still be walking................
I have decided to dedicate my fund raising to my father, whom l lost last month. Dad spent his working life caring for people in hospitals and worked in several London Hospitals, so supporting Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital seems an appropriate tribute.
Really we are just a couple of middle aged housewives who somehow think we are upto this mammoth challenge.
Please give generously.
