Story
Most of my family & friends will know why I’m running for St Ann’s Hospice… but for those who don't here’s my story…
My dad who was not only my biggest supporter in EVERYTHING I ever did in my life sadly passed away in 2014…. Leaving a massive hole in all our life’s and in the lives of many people that knew him….
Leading up to his final days he was cared for in the most outstanding and unforgettable way by the amazing staff at St Ann’s Hospice in Heald Green….the care he was given and the way the staff supported all the family we will never forget…. He came home after his stay there for his final journey and we simply never forgot how special his time there was.
Since then I’ve taken part and raised money for St Ann’s in various challenges to raise vital funds for this fantastic charity, and now I’m taking on the ultimate challenge… To say I’m honoured to have been awarded one of their charity places to run in the London Marathon would be an understatement…. Not only will I be tested physically but also mentally in this huge adventure but I know my dad will be with me every step of the way…. It’ll be one big smile to the sky as I crossed that finish line next April dad…
What better honour to mark your 10th year anniversary.
I’ve been supported by you my wonderful family friends previously and once again I’m asking for your faith and support in my journey …. So it’s great to share finally that I'm competing in the iconic London Marathon in 2024 to help raise vital funds for our hospice.#TeamStAnns.
I’ll share the highs and the lows along the way…. So come with me on my marathon journey and let’s do this together…
