This winter I'm joining the fight to campaign for better, more equal mental health services for all.
Access to mental health support is still too often determined by where we live or who we are.
Mind in the City & Hackney are dedicated to ending this injustice, and supporting people disproportionately affected by mental health issues; people from racialised communities, young people, and people living in poverty.
They run services that help people find and stay in work, assist people with accessing benefits, and run specialised services for those with mental health issues in the LGBTQ+ and African and Caribbean communitiesBut they need your help.
Together, we can build a society that fights for the mental health of every last one of us.
This year I have set myself a goal to run Landmarks Half in April, Hackney Half in May and have my fingers crossed for a ballot place in the London Marathon in October!
I need to raise a minimum sponsor of £400 but every penny helps!
