Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad sadly passed away on 9th July 2014 from Motor Neurone Disease. He was diagnosed just three weeks prior to his death. Motor Neurone Disease is a rare but devastating illness and no one knows how it is caused so finding a cure is difficult. The disease effects people in different ways but it is fatal. Being diagnosed with such a disease and coming to terms with the symptoms caused is overwhelming for both the patient and their family.

The MND Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland dedicated to improve care and support for people affected by MND, fund and promote research, and campaign and raise awareness so the needs of people with MND are addressed by society.
