Since getting back into running a couple of years ago - just to the end of the road and back at first - I gradually got fitter and more ambitious, and now I've decided I'm ready for my very first organised run.  So I'm off to the Ageas Bowl 10k in Southampton on Sunday 30 September. I won't be fast, but I won't be last!

Tamba, the charity I work for, wants to raise at least £20,000 to fund pioneering research programmes, to save babies' lives - you can read all about it on their page (link at the top of this page). I couldn't be prouder to dedicate my first ever official run to Tamba's new appeal, "Research Rocks!"
