We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

Driven by a desire to make a difference for people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injury, us four runners will attempt to complete one of the most gruelling feats of human endeavour when we run the London Marathon. As many of you who know us by no means is running in our nature. However, on the 21 April 2024 we shall conquer all 26.2 miles of fine British concrete.

Aspire sits closely to us as a charity as one of the team members lost his father David Reid Scott on July 11th, 2020, aged 73 years. This was after experiencing a serious spinal cord injury which happened from a simple fall on holiday. David was an active man throughout his life with a passion for Riding, fishing, shooting and gardening and an injury like this would limit all of his hobbies. It is in memory of David that we want to make a difference to help others overcome injuries as
such.

We are supporting the charity Aspire, a national charity close to our hearts that provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. A spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at any time, and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire exists because there is currently no cure.

With your kind support we can help people like David overcome their injuries and live a better life.
