Story
I DID IT! Chip time was 2.05, including emergency stop to wrestle with pesky intestines! I was 4051st.
Thanks for all your support and sponsorship (its not too late if you haven't given yet). Knowing I had so much support made all the difference. THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for looking at my page.
I decided to run the Bath Half to give me a focus for the six months I was told to wait to see if Operation number 7 had worked. It hasn't, but at least I'll be fit for Operation number 8 if the surgeons are prepared to risk it.
I had fantastic support from everyone at St Mark's - they are the specialist hospital for people with badly behaved intestines. Hopefully one day they'll be able to fix people like me, if not actually me. Please sponsor me and help fund the research they need to find new treatments.
If you can sponsor me (or even if you can't) please suggest a song for my iPod in the knowledge I'll feel a boost from your support when I'm running.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Mark's Hospital Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
