We are raising money for Salford Survivor Project to allow them to continue to saves lives within Salford. Every week 2 women and 1 man is murdered by a partner or ex partner in the UK. These figures do not include those killed by family members or love rivals. They do not include children murdered. On 25th September in conjunction with National Fitness Day with the support Of Salford Shopping Centre and Pure Gym a group of volunteers are holding a sponsored ride on exercise bikes within the centre to raise much needed funds for the Project. Whilst there a list of names of people who have been murdered by someone they knew as a family member, partner/ex partner or love rival since 2009 in Greater Manchester will be read out in their memory.
