Story
So, 4 weeks ago I received a phone call asking if I was still interested in running the London Marathon 2022 for the RNIB, as I had applied to the ballot last year. To say I was thrilled is an understatement. This has been on my Bucket List for more years than I care to mention! Beyond excited.....beyond nervous......
And then, on 30th August, I lost my amazing dad, Barry.
I hesitated; would it be right to still focus on something just for me? COULD I still focus on something just for me, when my world had just crumbled?
I decided I had to do it. Throughout my life my dad had always believed I was capable of anything, he truly thought I was something special.
So I'll do this dad, and I'll do it for you.
And I know you'll be watching and cheering me all the way. Love you x.
And now for the official blurb!
