I am swimming 22 miles - the equivalent to crossing the Channel - in 15 weeks.  72  Lengths a week! As most people who know me will know that is a challenge! The most I have ever swam in one go is 21 lengths.

The reason? To raise money for the charity and to help a friend, whose mum has just recently died, to achieve her goal of swimming the channel for Breakthrough Cancer.  With every length I do she will match! But its not just me she has others doing it as well!  

In July she is swiming in a relay to cross the channel as a rehearsal for her own attempt possibly the year after.
