Jo Cox was a passionate campaigner, activist and humanitarian; a proud Yorkshire lass and internationalist; and a devoted mum, daughter, sister, wife, friend and MP.
I'm taking part in the Jo Cox Way because - like Jo herself - I believe that we have more in common than that which divides us.
In July I'll join a group of over 80 riders as we cycle nearly 300 miles from Jo's constituency in West Yorkshire to London. Over five days, this group - from a range of different backgrounds and different cycling abilities - will really bring Jo's more in common message to life.
I'm also fundraising for The Jo Cox Foundation as part of this challenge. The charity was founded to make meaningful change on issues that Jo was passionate about. Everything that you donate will go to their work to bring the more in common message to life.
The Jo Cox Foundation is a small charity with a big impact. So please give what you can to help them to achieve even more change in Jo's memory.
