Story
Hi everyone, welcome to my JustGiving page.
Most of you are probably aware that I will be competing in this year's London Marathon, having already seen me pounding pavements in my luminous leggings or boring you about my latest run.
I will be competing for a cause that is very important to me, as in November last year after a long battle, my uncle Chris lost his fight with pancreatic cancer. I will be running in his memory, raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, to help fund research into treatments that will give future patients a better chance of survival.
Chris was always happy to see people, with a warm smile on his face and a laid back manner. He was calmness personified, but this was backed up with a steely strength of character that has consistently inspired me through my training. His loss has left a big hole that can't be filled, but he will never be forgotten.
Thanks for taking time out to read this. If you wish to make any donations they will be gratefully received. I'll look forward to seeing a few of you on my way around on Sunday April 21st!
