Story
On Saturday 6th September I will be attempting to complete The Vitruvian, a half ironman distance triathlon at Rutland Water in the Midlands.
The event comprises a 1.9km swim, 85km bike followed by a 21km run. Doesn't sound too pleasant but it's definitely worth a pop.
I know you have all probably been inundated with sponsorship requests in recent times but I would extremely grateful if you could find just a fiver to sponsor me. I'm hoping to have 100 people sponsor me £5 so that I can make a meaningful contribution to the Rays of Sunshine charity.
Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity exists to fulfil the wishes of children, between the ages of 3-18 in the UK, of any race or gender who are terminally or seriously ill. It also buys equipment for these children and support the hospices, hospitals and specialist schools that care for them.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thanks in advance for your support and I look forward to updating you with news from the event!
Nick
