Story
My friend and former Colchester Council colleague Martin Hunt died from cancer at the end of 2015. During the last few months of his life, St Helena Hospice was a great support to him and his family, and in memory of him, I'd like to raise money to help them continue their work.
That's why I'll be taking part in the Hospice's Pier To Pier Walk on Sunday 17 April, going from Walton Pier to Clacton Pier and back again. I've no idea if it will be a nice spring day for walking, or if there'll be cold wind and rain blowing in off the North Sea, but I'll be walking the fourteen miles regardless.
All donations are welcome, as is support on the day. The good thing about finishing in Walton is we can go and have some nice fish and chips when we're done too!
