Story
Nick Palmer was a devoted Father, keen runner with the Southend Flyers and loyal Spurs fan.
On Sunday 8th June 2014, Nick was taking part in the Southend Half Marathon with his fellow Flyers runners, when he collapsed after the finish line. Sadly Nick passed away later that day.
His family and friends are shocked by his sudden passing, he leaves behind many friends, colleagues and close family.
His son George spent some of his years under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital and the family feel it would be right that a fund for them in Nick's memory should be created, as a reminder to the bright shining light Nick has left with us and a fitting tribute to remember him.
The family and friends would like to express their heart felt thanks to the public for the kind words during this difficult time, comforted by the fact Nick died doing what he loved.
