Story
In the years since the last the last major conflict in Europe the words of Laurence Binyon have been quietly spoken as we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of freedom and peace.
The horrific events launched by Russian regime on 24th February on a peaceful nation reminds us how lucky we have been to have enjoyed peace in Europe for much of our lives.
Our annual bike rides have supported many different charities over the years, but there is no greater need than to support, protect and save lives of children and families fleeing their homes - and for who knows how long.
The UN estimates over 2 million people have fled Ukraine, but numbers are likely to rise as the conflict intensifies. Children will bear the brunt of this crisis, especially as the numbers of people killed or wounded in the war rise.
Your donation today can help provide children and families searching for a safe haven with hygiene kits, protection and psychosocial support - including child friendly spaces.
We will be cycling from St Malo to Pegasus Bridge between 16 - 19 June 2022 to remember the events of WW2 to help the innocent victims of the horrific Ukrainian conflict today.
Help us to act fast to protect and support these innocent people.
Many, many thanks for your support
