Story
Partly to tick something off the bucket list, and partly to do something nice for other people, my New Years Resolution was to run a marathon for charity. True to my word, I am running the 2012 Brighton Marathon for Cancer Research UK on Sunday 15 April.
I am in for 15 weeks of nasty training, so donate some money and you can rest happily in that not only are you helping the lovely people at Cancer Research UK, but you are also giving me a reason for going out a running in the freezing cold, wind and rain, whilst you lot are all tucked up indoors.
For my friends and family, if anyone fancies a day at the seaside, your support on the day would be hugely welcome!
Everyone knows somebody who has suffered from Cancer. It isn't nice, so be generous. Thank you in advance to anyone who donates!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
